Wins and Brags

Brags, please!
Author Last Post
Congratulations to all who had good runs, Q's, or just plain fun at the trial!  It felt strange to be there on Saturday without a dog, but at least I can now leave Greta at home, uncrated, without mass destruction!  I think that is somewhat of a brag!  She seems to do much better uncrated than crated when I leave, so I guess she's getting more confident that I really will return.  Strangely enough, she spends more time in her crate when I am a home..........(?)

Thanks to LeAnne and all the others who put on such a good trial, as always.  A lot of hard work goes into putting a trial together and they deserve our thanks.  And don't forget about Mary and Beth, who got the food together.  That was a big job too, and very delicious!
Muggle and I had a great weekend! He Q'ed in Starters Gamblers and Jumpers, and he had a great Standard run, except that pesky chute that he's still avoiding. But, he did all the weave poles with no extra cues or nudges from me!! We also ran our first Snooker and enjoyed all 15 seconds of it : )

Congratulations to everyone and a big THANK YOU to all of our fabulous spring class instructors - Mike, Ashley, and Jonathan! And extra thanks to Ashley, Jonathan, Wanda, and Courtney for the extra help on weave poles! That made a big difference!

Rusty had a great time at his first trial! He had a tough time paying attention and staying on the courses, but he managed to get his first Q in Starters Pairs. Also I am very proud of his weaving from Friday's Starter's Standard course. He didn't finish the course, but his weaves were perfect. Thanks to everyone who helped with the trial. We had a great time and can't wait until the next one.
Me and Abby had a few of firsts this weekend. First time for both of us running pairs and snooker in a trial. I was really proud of her this weekend though. Her jumpers run was fast and pretty other than knocking a few bars. She didn't get sucked into the tunnel on her snooker run. Her contacts definitely need some work. Anyone who stayed late on Friday night got the amusement of watching her teeter (that I haven't hardly worked on, just FYI). It will be contact loving summer!
Shelly Belly Usher finished his Advanced Snooker title.  My biggest brag on him is that he performed his contacts, performed all his weaves, and laid down on the table.  Our summer project is to get a brain at the startline.  Surfer had a great qualifying pairs run and a nice snooker run.  Splash was the cheerleader.
Well, I figure I'll start out the brags because this may be our last time posting about LCDA trials for awhile :(

Our pups had a great weekend. As always, there is much to work on, but I am always proud of them. Lexi Qd in Starters Standard, Starters Snooker, Starters Pairs and got her Starters Gamblers title. And she wants to thank those of you who fed her treats this weekend--she seemed totally confident :)

Bentley also had a good weekend. He got a Masters Pairs Q, his Jumpers Master title, and his Snooker Championship. He also got both his contacts in his last Standard run--what a good boy!

I saw a lot of great runs out there so let's hear about some of them!
