Time to Brag!! and more

A major congratulations to all the "new" and the "old" who competed and/or helped to (once again) make the LCDA 3 day agility test a wonderful event. Gosh, I guess I definitely have fallen into the "old" subcategory as I have never even accessed facebook.....(see how "with it" you are Mary!!). The Peyser pups are still a bit "down" (as far as the physical aspects of agility competition goes) but they are not yet "out" and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to come out and support all their friends!
Weekend Update: Echo earned a Super Q in Snooker with a 1st place and a Jumpers Q with a 1st place finish - finishing her PIII Jumpers Dog Title!!! Meg earned a 1st and Q in Advanced Snooker finishing her Advanced Snooker Title as well as a Q in Master Gamblers :) Plus her weaves got better and better throughout the entire weekend! Go girls!
Thanks for all the help from everyone this weekend. I have received quite a few nice emails since last night.

Take care,
Kathy
Congratulations to everyone! I saw lots of good runs this weekend. Matilda and I had a good weekend. We got a PIII Prs Q to earn our PIII Relay title, a PIII Standard Q to earn our PIII Standard title. We also got a PIII Snooker Q, but we were one tunnel away from finishing the #7, John Reid finished the#7 and got the elusive Super Q that we're looking for. A great weekend!

Lori and Matilda
Congratulations to all of the dog/handler teams that compeated this past week end.
It was nice getting to see some of the runs. Really nice getting to visit with those that we don't see often.

I like the idea of putting the brags on the forum also,as for one, I don't do Facebook often (getting too old), unless someone sends me an  e mail saying to go look on Facebook, then you may as well send the message to me:-)

We are finally coming along and getting our act together, somewhat. We got our first Q in Gamblers with 2nd place :) (I was so excited!) and placed 4th in two Standard runs and two Jumper runs with no Q's :(...at least we were consistent. Overall, it was a great weekend with great people and great dogs!
I agree with Wanda--I am so proud of our "up and comers"--you guys did great! I was cheering loudly every time each of you ran. Way to go!

Bentley had an interesting weekend. He is learning to work away from us, and for now that means we will be getting a few off courses, and thus eliminations. It was all worth it, though, when our little velcro dog got his first Masters Gamblers Q! 6 months ago I would have never thought it possible!

He also rounded out the weekend with 2 Masters Pairs Qs, a Masters Snooker Q, and a Team Q!
I'll start! I'm so excited about Muggle's and my first agility trial and Q in Performance I gamblers that I haven't stopped grinning since Saturday! He was AMAZING, and I still have LOTS and LOTS to learn. I'm especially in awe of Muggle because when we rescued him just over 14 months ago, he didn't know any commands and wasn't even housebroken!! I can't thank all of you enough for all your help, guidance, support, and encouragement! Especially the FABULOUS LCDA instructors who have taken him through obedience, intro to agility, obstacles II, and now handling - Deidre, Wanda, Courtney, and Mike! THANKS!!
There has been a lot of bragging on facebook, but everyone is not on facebook.  So, it is time to sing your praises and strut your stuff.  I am so excited for our group of new agility dogs.  Muggle, O.D., Hunley, Jefferson, Emma and Riley all had a great trial.  Y'all need to brag.  If I left anyone off, I apologize.  Here is my brag.  Agile Spaniels, team Surfer Boy and Sandy pciked up a team Qualifier.  Surfer was not very agile by Sunday but the old guy hung in there and refused to give up.  He is sleeping it off today.  He banked another pairs qualifier with his buddy Justice on Friday.  Shelly Belly Usher, by the grace of God and Mary Ellen Barry, and his sweet girl Lily  managed to get a team qualifier.  He also finished his Advanced Gamblers title.  He forgot his contact performance on Friday and Saturday, but when he woke up on Sunday, he suddenly remembered what was expected of him.  His weaves were great all weekend.  But, Lord help me with his table.  There is always something to train.
